Unveiled
Our heart is to raise up resilient disciples of Jesus who are committed to living as a community who carry His heart, and are a resting place for His presence. Uprising Youth is a community that rises, rises when things get hard, rises against injustice, rises against the world's standards, rises in leadership - we are called to rise higher than the world’s standards! The name ‘Uprising’ comes from a prophetic word from Dave Wagner in 2015 that states our Stairway youth will be a people that are set apart from the world that will pursue holiness, walk in righteousness, and be a witness to the great things God is doing in the world. Our focus is to help equip our young people to walk in their calling. Another prophetic word we have received over our youth is ‘If you want to see what God is doing, watch the young people’ so our goal is to create a space where they can encounter the love of God, and learn to be able to activate their faith in their everyday lives!
